Should You Support Local Agents?
Television is flooded with advertisements. When you’re watching a new episode of your favorite TV show, the ads seem like an eternity. Time.com released an article about the increase in length of advertisements per television show– in 2013, studies show that advertisements were taking up fourteen minutes and fifteen seconds per hour of television.
We see advertisements every single day for the big-name, chain businesses–whether it’s on television, the radio, or billboards lining the streets we travel on daily. Have you ever thought about what goes into these advertisements?
The answer: Money. Lots and lots of money.
In fact, according to Insurance Business America, Geico spent 1.2 BILLION dollars on ads in 2013.
So what about the businesses that haven’t established a large enough clientele to afford these outrageously-priced ads? What about the local, family-owned businesses that are struggling to make a name for themselves?
You may have never thought about this before: the importance of supporting local businesses.
When it’s time to renew your insurance policy, here are some reasons why you should consider us for your insurance needs.
